This blend was conceived when we imagined creating a fragrant vinaigrette with a hint of sweetness, which would combine beautifully with green, as well as mixed salads. Because of the inclusion of different peppers alongside Quebec garlic flowers, it is also a flavourful combination which can perk up poultry, meat or tofu marinades. Works well when added to yogurt or mayonnaise-based dips.
To make a quick and simple vinaigrette
Mix 4 tbsp red wine vinegar, 2 Tbsp Maple Vinaigrette seasoning, 6 tbsp olive oil and salt to taste. Let rest a few minutes before serving!

Épices de Cru began in 1982 as a catering partnership between Philippe and Ethné de Vienne. Their mission was a kind of “cooking pot anthropology:” learning the secrets of family cooking around the world and applying these techniques to the needs of hungry Montrealers.
