Trea Koroneiki Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

£12.00

In a nutshell: A classic Greek olive oil with grassy notes and hints of green apple that is perfect for everyday use in the kitchen.

This brilliant extra-virgin olive oil comes from Chora Village in Messinia in the Peloponnese region of Greece. The hand-picked olives are from the acclaimed Koroneiki variety olives that grow in abundance in the region.
The fresh breeze from the Ionian sea in combination with the morphology of the soil plays a significant role in ensuring a consistent and exceptional crop. The olives are transported in plastic crates to preserve their quality and are then taken to a nearby mill within hours of picking, in order to maintain all their beneficial characteristics. The olives are immediately cold-pressed within 20 minutes in order to preserve their spicy flavour and distinct aroma.

How to use:

  • Combine with grilled meats and roasts.
  • Drizzle over vegetable, bean and lentil soups.
  • Perfect for bruschetta and salad dressings.
