The inhabitants of the village of Rajakumari (which means “princess” in Hindi), situated in the Indian province of Kerala, live primarily through this pepper and cardamom cultivation. The unique and mountainous local conditions create a microclimate beneficial to this singular pepper. Harvested at full maturity, the tiny peppercorns are considerably denser than others grown in the region. A truly exceptional pepper.
